Whispering Woods committees provide residents the opportunity to participate, share ideas, and support the continued success of our Association.

Committees serve in an advisory capacity to the Board of Directors. They review issues within their scope, discuss ideas, and provide recommendations to the Board for consideration. Final decisions remain with the Board.

Each committee is led by a Committee Chair and supported by a Board Liaison to ensure alignment with Association governance and priorities.

How Committees Work

• Committees are advisory unless authority is formally delegated by the Board
• Meetings are structured and focused on the committee’s scope
• Recommendations are presented to the Board for review
• Members are expected to complete orientation and follow the Committee Code of Conduct

Community Engagement Committee

Focus: Welcoming residents, coordinating community events, supporting newsletters and website updates, and fostering positive communication throughout the neighborhood.

This committee helps strengthen connections and build a strong sense of community.

Community Enhancement Committee

(Includes Improvements, Environmental, Lakeshore, and Safety Support)

Focus: Reviewing improvement projects, maintenance initiatives, environmental considerations, lakeshore preservation, and safety-related recommendations for Board review.

This committee helps protect and enhance the physical appearance and long-term value of the community.

Finance Committee

Focus: Reviewing budgets, financial reports, and fiscal planning to support responsible stewardship of Association resources.

This committee promotes financial transparency and long-term stability.

Rules & Compliance Committee(Includes Covenants Review & Advisory Input on Enforcement Matters)
